SaleTrail is operated by Better Together Branding LLC, an Adytum company. By using the SaleTrail app or website — and especially by posting a sale — you agree to these terms.
What you're agreeing to when you post
- Your sale is a real, in-person sale at a real address you're allowed to use.
- Your listing — titles, descriptions, photos, and prices — is accurate and yours to post.
- You'll honor the Buy Now reservations and pickups you accept.
Prohibited items and content — zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not list, depict, or promote:
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or other weapons
- Illegal drugs, prescription medication, tobacco, vaping products, or alcohol
- Stolen or counterfeit goods, or recalled/unsafe products
- Sexually explicit material, or content sexualizing minors in any way
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content targeting people for who they are
- Live animals, human remains or body parts, or hazardous materials
- Scams, fake sales, spam, or listings designed to mislead shoppers
Listings are screened automatically when posted, and every listing can be reported by the community.
Reporting, blocking, and enforcement
- Report: every sale page has a Report button with a reason picker. Reports go straight to our moderation team.
- We act within 24 hours: reported content is reviewed within 24 hours; violating listings are removed and repeat or serious offenders are banned from posting.
- Auto-quarantine: listings reported by multiple independent sources are hidden automatically pending review, and can't take orders while hidden.
- Block: you can block any seller — all of their sales disappear from your device immediately. Unblock any time from Explore.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Seller tools (the Register Pass, Seller Pass, and Organizer Pass) are one-time or annual purchases as labeled; passes are tied to your device account and aren't transferable. Buy Now purchases are agreements between buyer and seller to complete an in-person pickup; if an item sells out before your payment settles, you're refunded automatically.
Buyers
Browsing, searching, liking, and buying on SaleTrail are free — always.
Liability
SaleTrail is a venue that connects neighbors. Sales happen in the real world between buyers and sellers; inspect items before paying, meet safely, and use common sense. To the extent the law allows, SaleTrail is provided "as is" and Better Together Branding LLC is not a party to transactions between users.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll revise the effective date above when we do.
